Mold Assessment
What We Do?
A mold assessment begins with a careful visual inspection of accessible areas of the property. We look for visible mold growth, staining, signs of past or ongoing water intrusion, elevated moisture, and building conditions that may support mold development. Our goal is not only to identify potential mold concerns, but also to understand the moisture conditions that may be contributing to them.
Sampling is recommended only when it can provide useful additional information—for example, when conditions are unclear, when occupants have concerns about the indoor environment, or when documentation is needed for real-estate, rental, or post-remediation purposes. Testing is not automatic; we explain when sampling may be helpful and what the results can and cannot tell you.

Why Moisture Matters
Most indoor mold problems are linked to current or past moisture. During the assessment, we use non-invasive moisture meters, visual observations, and building-science principles to evaluate possible sources such as leaks, condensation, drainage, roof or exterior water intrusion, and ventilation issues.
We also consider humidity, plumbing and roof history, drainage, and airflow patterns to help identify why the problem developed and reduce the chance of recurrence.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
When IAQ Testing Helps
If air or surface sampling is appropriate, we coordinate with independent accredited laboratories. Results are interpreted in plain language so you understand what they mean for your specific home and situation.
